En esta etapa mi interés se concentró en las figuras de los grandes maestros. Allí, la búsqueda del hombre por desentrañar su destino final, se me hizo manifiesta. Descubrí que las preocupaciones a través de los tiempos han sido siempre las mismas: la presencia o ausencia de Dios, el amor, la vida, la muerte… El espejo como enigma y el péndulo reconciliando los lados oscuros y luminosos de la naturaleza humana, lo particular con lo universal, lo sagrado y lo profano, lo humano y lo divino…
In this stage my interest fell on the figures created by the great masters. There, Man´s search to fathom his ultimate destiny, became clear to me. I discovered that concerns throughout the times have always been the same: the presence or absence of God, love, life, , death…the mirror as an enigma and the pendulum reconciling both the bright and the dark side of Human Nature, the particular with the universal, the sacred and the profane, the human and the divine…

In this re visiting to the masters of art of all times, Estela Pereda urges us to a re significance…an intentionality of a re- encounter with that position which places us within a frame of confrontation with artistic theoretical precepts..towards criteria of quality, authenticity, eternity: the genuine work of art.
